:) good. u have managed to get so many emotions in so few lines

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words on my drabble.

It's quite challenging putting everything there is to say into only 100 words but then, it makes for a quick read and I'm always happy to receive such nice comments on my fanfics.

I loved this drabble,it was so funny, i can picture John doing this and Sam saying i'm dead lol.

Author's Response: Thanks a lot for the amazing review, darkhunter. I'm thrilled you liked it and agreed with it being not quite uncharacteristic for John.

To me, the guy's a true challenge in terms of parental skills but I never once doubted that all he ever wanted, was the best for his sons. If that meant hard training, then so be it.

And yeah, Sammy is simply too cute stating he was 'dead' if Dean hit the water. :-D

Yikes! Was that John? I can't believe he would put Dean in such a precarious position. What was he thinking, the jerk. I really enjoyed your little fic.

Author's Response: Thank you very much for the kind review, moira. I'm happy to see you enjoyed this drabble so well, even if it got you all worked up over John's behaviour.

So, you're right there. The man at the riverbank was indeed Daddy Winchester. Yet, I can totally picture him going through those kinds of training exercises with his sons, particularly since I don't believe there was any more danger to Dean than getting wet.
